Blogging!

I seem to have run into a “writers block” where my blog is concerned.

Every time I sit down to write down something, my mind kinda goes blank and I am like what the heck am i doing??

But at the oddest moments like when I am out to enjoy a ride around Male’, or I am busy buried in the thousands of lines of codes, stuff creeps into my head which slowly revolve into a pretty nice blog post. Oh the irony!

But then the moment goes off, and I am left with the usual ramblings of my mind.

The question I am left with then is, where do I go from here?

Hiya!!

Hey y’all,

Happy New Year to all!

Being a long time since I blogged, have been up to a lot of stuff, practically like taking leave and going to India for medical treatment and coming back into a whole lotta mess at work. That right about sums up everything I have been doing for the past month or so.

Just got some breathing room at work and thought of dropping a line or two just to let you all know I am still living, breathing and continuing with my life ;)

Adios!!

Things I’m Hung Up On at the Moment

  •  Breaking Benjamin’s album Phobia, especially the track Breathe. Its awesome.
  • One Tree Hill Season 3. I just want to smash my fist into Dan Scott’s face. Like a hundred and fifty times or so.
  • Blogging: this stuff is like an addiction where you just can’t seem to get enough.
  • Julie Garwood’s Murder List: though it doesn’t compare to Mercy my favorite book of all time by the author, there is a Buchanan in it; So YAY!!
  • Downloading Grey’s Anatomy Season 1; can’t wait to watch it.
  • Angra’s Bleeding Heart: that song has cool lyrics and a nice rhythm to it, if you are into a bit rockish and gloomish and moodish music. Haha!

Endless Reading!

I am about to finish reading all the historical romances available by Julie Garwood and it kind of breaks my heart knowing that there won’t be anymore of her historical romance books to look forward to.

Last night I finished reading Saving Grace. As always the book was splendid with humorous antics that kept me smiling all the way through.

I started reading Prince Charming and stopped at a couple of pages. After reading that I will be moving onto The Wedding. The last historical romance book left.

Anyways there are still the contemporary novels to look forward to, and the latest novel which would be out in December as well.

Until then happy reading!! :)

The Problem The British Seems to Be Having

The British suddenly seems to be fixated on the veil that is obligatory for all Muslim women to wear. The British seems to find the veil a barrier to communication and a barrier to forming relations within the community. Some have gone even as far as to say that the veil is worn to be different and that those who wear it are not projecting the idea of welcoming inclusion into the society. I say what a load of CRAP!!

The whole propaganda seems to have been started to divert the attention from the real problem on the hands of the Britain’s i.e. the fact that the war on Iraq is not working and its time to go home and admit failure. The Bush and the Blaire administration is constantly under fire and scrutiny over their actions in Iraq and how Iraq has turned out into a violent country where there is no respite from the day to day bombings and other such violent activities.

The Bush administration I believe has achieved its target by dividing up the whole Iraqi society such that they are not a community as a whole anymore.. They are separate communities that are fighting amongst themselves and thus missing the whole picture. Which is the fact that they are giving up the expected results wanted by all non-muslims–> disintegration of the Muslim community.

Muslims should be concerned about what is happening and focus on the bigger picture rather than getting involved in a brawl with the British or the Americans about issues of the religion that have been clearly outlined in the Holy Quruan and Ahadith. The Muslim community at this time should strive to unite as one and fight against these forces who are effectively trying to create strife and ignorance in the Muslim Community.
